Recorded during the mid-’70s, album ‘Rasta Business’ by legendary reggae lover’s music artist, Gregory Isaacs displays high quality consistency of the Cool Ruler’s style. More known for his seductive voice for lovers, Isaacs also wrote about struggle and societal issues.
We’ve featured track title “Mr. Cop,” which was produced by none other than Lee “Scratch” Perry at his Black Ark studio that provides the listener with some of Isaacs best conscious-driven lyrical works ever recorded in that era. Also presented below are a couple of Isaacs trademark love-making songs off the album, “If I Don’t Have You” and “Permanent Lover.”
To add, Rasta Business was produced by Leaky Sync contributing artist, John Matarazzo of Logical Drift. Perhaps a SYNChronicity, eh!
