Grit Harbour is a rock band out of Los Angeles, California, delivering a unique sound that blends elements of rock, folk and indie alternative. The band features James Markas (vocals & rhythm guitar), Corey Klass (lead guitar), Edwin Marston (Bass), and Quincy Markas (drums), each a multi-instrumentalist both in the studio and on stage.
In late 2015, they were chosen by Linkin Park as one of their top favorite bands and were voted to be part of a compilation, ‘Music For Relief’ distributed by Warner Bros records. They were house band at Hard Rock Café off Hollywood Blvd for a period of time where they gained notoriety for their style and originality, leading up to bigger opportunities. They’ve played at numerous festivals and events and continue to captivate and gain fans at every show. They’ve been lauded as “a kind of poetic fusion of musical instruments, lyrics, and soul that you have to listen to, it’s powerful…. They range from blues-rock, folk, Americana, to the power trios of the 60’s and 70’s…full of emotion and depth that run the gambit of musical genres.”
